Krasula is a pop-up pierogi bar that brings the much-needed, modern Polish flavor to the bustling New York food scene. By elevating pierogi using farm-fresh ingredients, we bring gourmet to the streets. I have made my mission to become the official Sustainable Pierogi Ambassador in New York.
At Krasula menu offerings are simple, made with fresh, natural ingredients, and an array of rejuvenated pierogi fillings, toppings, and whole grains. We cater to the traditional eater, as well as the vegetarian, the vegan and the gluten free conscious persons. Reducing the unnecessary use of dairy in the dough offers much lower cholesterol content. By working together with local farmers, we are able to use the best seasonal ingredients, the same way I used to make them on our family farm in Poland.
The $5,000 will cover the cost of a re-furbished shipping container and pay for it’s renovation. Allowing Krasula to have a place to call home, and be ready to hit the ground running at the local food markets in New York City this summer.
